A Miami Facade Engineering & Glass Systems Company

Aluconium is built around its own engineering department. Our engineers specialize in building cladding, curtain walls and glass railings, and they stay with every project from the first concept to the final inspection.

Who we are

Engineering at the center of every facade

We design, engineer, fabricate and supply curtain walls, ACP, aluminum and HPL cladding, glass railings and architectural glass for the US market, with our base and our focus in Miami and South Florida.

Installation is carried out by licensed and insured partner crews under our supervision, so the client deals with one team from design to closeout. Our affiliate Langford Ltd. (langford-glass.com) brings years of international experience in aluminum curtain walls, panel cladding and HPL facades for hospitals, shopping malls, offices and residential towers.

Engineering department

Facade engineers on your project, start to finish

Our engineering team is how complex facades move smoothly through design, approval and construction.

Concept & design-assist

System selection, glass make-ups, panel layouts and key details developed with the design team from the earliest drawings.

Engineering & shop drawings

Wind loads, anchorage, movement and thermal details worked out in-house, with shop drawings and calculations signed and sealed by a Florida-licensed professional engineer.

Approvals in hurricane country

Systems with a Miami-Dade NOA or Florida Product Approval for the wind zone, and a clear approval path for custom designs.

Site support to closeout

Engineers on call through fabrication and installation: site measurements, field questions, inspections, as-builts and warranties.

For architects & designers

Your design, engineered to be built

We work side by side with architects and interior designers on every project, and we find solutions for their boldest ideas, including the most complex ones.

Early design input

We join the design team early to propose systems, budgets and details, so the facade on the renderings is the facade that gets built.

Solutions for complex details

Curved glass corners, frameless glass walls in a hurricane zone, facades with no visible fixings, custom railings: our engineers find the way to build and approve them.

Samples & mock-ups

Color samples, glass samples and mock-ups that let the design team see and approve the result before production.

For contractors & developers

One accountable partner for the envelope

The glass and metal on a building touch every other trade. We make that scope one coordinated package.

Bid-stage technical review

We read the drawings and specifications before we price, and flag scope gaps, spec conflicts and long-lead items early.

Clear, comparable proposals

Itemized scope with inclusions and exclusions listed, so you can level our bid line by line.

Licensed & insured installation

Installation by licensed and insured partners, with permits pulled by the licensed contractor of record and certificates of insurance with every contract.

Our process
